Pharma Brand Programs
Yes, it works.
In February of 2009, Vitality recruited 50 people in the Boston area to use a GlowCap for a once-a-day prescription medication or vitamin. Data from the cap was transmitted continuously over the three-month beta period and Vitality measured an average adherence of 86%. Now, Harvard Medical School, Duke University, and major pharmaceutical companies and pharmacies are running their own randomized controlled trials to quantify the impact and value of GlowCaps to specific populations, conditions and therapies.
Minute-by-minute adherence behavior
Vitality offers an unprecedented view of minute by minute adherence behavior for each person with a GlowCap. This data can be filtered by condition, medication, refilling pharmacy, physician, or other psychographic parameters.
